The 70th BPSC preliminary examination will be held on December 13 at nine centers in Madhepura. 5088 candidates will appear in the examination. In this regard, strict security arrangements have been made by the district administration. DM Taranjot Singh and SP Sandeep Singh have jointly briefed all the deputed magistrates and police officers to maintain law and order during the examination and conduct the examination clean and peaceful.

During the briefing, DM told that on December 13, the examination for 5088 candidates will be conducted at nine centers in Madhepura. No candidate will be allowed to carry electronic materials like mobile phone, calculator, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi gadget, electronic pen, pager etc. and materials like whitener eraser and blade in the examination hall. In case of any misconduct found, he/she will be debarred from appearing in the examinations of the Commission for the next five years including this examination. In case of spreading misleading and sensational rumors related to the examination, the commission will be debarred from appearing in the examinations for three years.

Jammer installed at all centers

In the presence of the Central Superintendent, deputed static magistrate-cum-observer and police officer, two and a half hours before the commencement of the examination, intensive scrutiny of the candidates will be done at the entrance gate from 9.30 am for a single shift, two and a half hours before the commencement of the examination, along with the photo and identity card of the candidates. After matching, entry inside the examination center will be allowed. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after 11 am for a single shift. The invigilators and center superintendents involved in the examination conduct will also not be allowed to carry mobile phones in the examination hall under any circumstances.

DM directed the DEO to complete the work of installing CCTV cameras and jammers at the entrance of the examination centre, control room and various activities of the persons present in all the examination rooms at least a day before the scheduled date of the examination. Will ensure. We will also ensure to provide progress report of this work. In order to control the possible law and order malpractice-free conduct of the examination on the occasion of the said examination, a District Control Room (telephone number 06476-222220) has been established in the Collectorate premises.
